Hi ! For about two month, Star Citizen wasn't working on Linux for me. But yesterday I tried something different... I was before trying to install it with Lutris but it was not working. Yesterday I installed it on steam. Here's what I did : UPDATE : I had modified /etc/hosts, the workaround is still requiered Go on the lug-helper git and do the auto Preflight Check (system optimization). https://github.com/starcitizen-lug/lug-helper Select the Star Citizen installer in the "Add a non-steam game to your library" Right click the installer on your steam list and select properties and then select use : Proton Experimental Click play and install. When the install is finished, stop the launcher from the tray. You now have to find where the launcher is. It should be in something like : /home/[username]/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/[number]/pfx/drive_c/Program Files/Roberts Space Industries/RSI Launcher Right click (in steam) on the installer and select properties, change target for : /home/[username]/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/[number]/pfx/drive_c/Program Files/Roberts Space Industries/RSI Launcher/RSI Launcher.exe change start in : /home/[username]/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/[number]/pfx/drive_c/Program Files/Roberts Space Industries/RSI Launcher/ You can change the name for Star Citizen and chose a icon if you want. Change the start option for : %command% --use-gl=osmesa Enjoy !! It would be great to be able to install Star Citizen directly on the steam store, would this be something you could be interessed in ? Thanks and have a great day !
