So my friend has just got an SSD to work alomg side his HHD. He has moved all his "Roberts Space Industries" folder to his SSD and change the location in the RSI Launhcer Settings, however it is downloading the entire game still even though all the files are in the correct places. Any ideas how just to play the game without having to redownload it all? We have followed these steps someone suggested but to no avail: Make a copy of your original install folder, its usualy "C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen" Put it on your desktop or anywhere else instead of the "C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries" folder Uninstall the Star Citizen Launcher. Reinstall the Star Citizen Launcher and when you do so point it to the new drive. Start it downloading and then exit the launcher. You should now have a mostly empty "@:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen" folder, where the @ is the drive letter of your new drive. Delete the new "@:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen" folder. Copy the back up of the "Star Citizen" folder into the now empty"@:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries" Once the copy has complete restart the launcher and the game should verify the files and then be ready to play. Clean up any copied files and old files left in the old "C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen" if there are any.
