So I have built a new computer. Fresh Windows 10 install (with all updates), with hardly anything else installed. All the .Net drivers are installed. I installed firefox and a couple of hardware monitoring software, as well as the software and drivers for the motherboard, and Steam (no games yet). Outside of that, Star Citizen is the only major thing ive installed. That said, when running in non-admin mode, it fails the moment i try to launch the game (image with the red dialog). I've tried re-lauching it many times, and verifying the files several times. Neither helps. When I run the launcher as an admin, i get no information at all, and no button to even launch the game. (second image). It still runs on my older machine (the one im writing this post on). Whats going on? After that huge install, it wont run. I dont see how completely deleting it and reinstalling will help, but if you think it will, ill give it ago. But are there any other suggestions before i go though that long process?
