Hi folks! So I currently have two SSD's on my PC, one is SATA and the other is M.2. I currently have my OS installed on the SATA (Drive C) and my games on the M.2 (Drive D), but I would like to have these drives switched with the OS on the faster M.2. I've tried cloning the drive, but that didn't work as my system refused to boot on anything but the original C drive as windows only recognized booting from there, regardless of what I did in the bios to try to get it to boot from the D drive. Windows still shows as having the system on the C drive. Doing a fresh install of windows on the M.2 drive turned it into a new C drive, so when the computer turns on and boots, it now doesn't know which drive to go off of and will only boot when the SATA drive is unplugged on a fresh version of windows. Again, all I would like to do is flip the function of both drives, but I'm not tech savvy enough to trouble shoot this and I would like input before I do something catastrophic. I do have a HDD that I can use for backing up. Thanks in advance!
