CIG is aware and is working on a fix: https://issue-council.robertsspaceindustries.com/projects/STAR-CITIZEN/issues/STARC-180041 We’re now focusing on resolving the separate issue where Personal Hangars are not being properly assigned to these affected players. PUBLIC ASOP stuck on thumbprint or spins endlessly Party up with someone who does have a hangar and use their hangars terminal Get a ride to another station (or character repair to return to home location) [this seems station specific] Server hop [this seems server specific as well] RED BANNER "Your claim cannot be processed at this time" Buying cargo directly into your ship and then attempting to spawn it may resolve this Getting a ride to an outpost with a vehicle spawn and spawning a suitable snub / small ship there, then flying back to home and landing in your hangar is also a possible solution. (Not reliable) CIG recommended solution is to go to another station if all else fails (hitch a ride) Elevator does not cycle after ship is called Region hop If the ASOP itself works (pubic or in hangar) and the ship itself never cycles on the elevator, the only known fix is to server hop. Elevator does not move from lobby OR arrive at hangar to empty void Try any of the fixes in the 'fixes' section https://issue-council.robertsspaceindustries.com/projects/STAR-CITIZEN/issues/STARC-124127 -------------------------------------FIXES---------------------------------------- RENTAL FIX If you are able to do so, rent a ship that is larger than what your hangar can handle. This will give you a public hangar and may resolve the problem of hangar access. Try another elevator This does work for some, always worth a go, but not guaranteed. This may take several tries to work. Some have also reported spamming the call button very quickly will work. PARTY HELP Join a party (friend, rando, or alt) Spawn a ship Have your party member go to your hangar Go to your hangar "Insurance Fraud" fix for broken personal Hangar https://issue-council.robertsspaceindustries.com/projects/STAR-CITIZEN/issues/STARC-124127 This workaround applies for those having access issues to their personal hangar. It does not seem to work for public hangars. If ATC refuses to respond and the elevator will not move from the lobby to your hangar, this applies to you and is worth trying. go to station A, deliver all your ships (to include ground vehicles) go to station B, self destruct the ship you came in on, and claim ALL vehicles return home If you need a pickup from your landing zone, try these locations: Lorville - Take a tram out to the garages New Babbage - Head out to the ice lake Orison - Go out to Vision Center If you have a small or medium hangar, you can usually rent a ship that's too large for your personal hangar. This should give you a public hangar that you'll then have access to. Use that hangar to get off planet. It only works for about half the people who try it, and you must deliver and claim ALL ships and ground vehicles. Note: it appears that this discrepancy is due to both ships and items causing the hangar issue. If an item is causing the issue, this will likely do nothing for you. It MUST be done at two different locations (I recommend space stations for ease of access). (Some folks have reported success on step 1, recommend completing the whole process anyway.) You don't have to go to stations, you can go to other planets, but stations are likely to be the most efficient. If you have any reliable workarounds for either issue, please include them below.
