Due to a routing issue I've been unable to update the game normally. I have 2 options, I can either use a VPN and get kb download speeds or I can have someone in an adjacent city physically download the whole of the game for me to manually install. I don't wish to purchase premium VPN services, especially on account of the fact I'd have literally 0 other use for it. With the change in patch cadence this has become unbearable. This is something I know is possible as it is an issue I've had exclusively with star citizen's launcher, specifically at my current address, the one before and a friend who lives near me also has the exact same issue with the same fix. Network troubleshooting ect ect has yielded no positive results. I live in the states so my options for changing ISP is jack squat (nor do I think changing ISP over a single game is reasonable) I'd just like some reassurance that this is something being considered as I don't think having to step away from my machine for the course of more than a day to complete a download is great.
