My friends and I have been having a lot of issues with 16k errors recently, but we also found a way around them. So without further ado I'd like to share our "workaround". It consists of two steps, though it might be that only step 2 is absolutely necessary. Here goes: Step 1: go to your C:\Users\$WhateverYourUsernameIs\AppData\Roaming folder. Find and delete both the "RSI Launcher" and "rsilauncher" folders. Step 2: launch cmd.exe via the search field in your taskbar. Then flush your DNS using the command "ipconfig /flushdns" (without quotation marks). You might have to make invisible folders visible in Windows settings to access AppData. That's it. Start the launcher and launch the game. You should be all set.
