Long story short, some of the new Insider builds of Win10 do not like SC. Their real-time network scanner for malware was using 8GB of ram for me and would not release, even after SC was closed. Simply fix is to go into settings for Windows Defender and exclude the SC directory. Once added, reboot the machine and feed SC all that extra ram. For me, my FPS last night went from about 15, to over 40.
