This post is intended to provide some details around my experience of RSI Launcher Error Code 0x1007, and resolution. Error Code 0x1007 – Roberts Space Industries Knowledge Base Took a break after 3.17 and came back for 3.18.1. Been playing the game consistently since then. On June 1st, I verified game files to see if 3.19.1 was available (hadn't seen the updates yet), and started receiving 0X1007. At first the error seemed inconsistent. IIRC the first two verify attempts failed, and then the 3rd worked. Having still not seen updates on 3.19.1's ETA, attempted a verify the next day and that's when the error stuck. While experiencing the error I attempted switching to WIFI, VPN, changing system clock, ran the ipconfig /flushdns command, etc. Also completely removed RSI Launcher & Star Citizen files, including C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\rsilauncher. None of which had any impact on the behavior. Last night I performed the steps to use a Public DNS, and that immediately worked. Was able to re-install the game, launch and login to the PU. Played for about an hour with no major issues.
