Im experiencing some weird intermittent stutter in game when I have the game installed on the same drive as windows, but not when the game is installed on a separate drive to windows. Its not like a system freeze or hang, its more so there will be a random split-second stutter at irregular intervals, and I cant seem to find out what would be causing the issue. The drive is a Gen5 M.2 drive with windows and the game installed on it. Ive benched the hardware and everything performs as expected on the benchmarks and star citizen runs great, other then this stupidly annoying random split second freeze which I think is being caused by windows and the game trying to use the drive at the same time. My specs are: 9800x3d X870-E 64GB 6000Mhz Cl30 7900xtx Lexar NM1090 Pro 2TB Samsung 990 Evo Pro 2TB Ive had this problem for as long as I can remember, but decided to install the game on a separate drive from windows and the issue went away entirely, I had zero stutter when I done this, the only problem is that if the game is installed on a separate drive I notice a lot of pop while running around. I've scoured the internet trying to find a similar issue to mine with no luck, im making this post in the hope that someone has had the same issue as me and has found a fix, or possibly someone with technical knowledge that could point me to a possible solution. I hope to find a solution to this issue and maybe it will help someone in the future with a similar setup to mine.
