Hi Star Citizen community! I have recently upgraded to an 27 inch LG UltraGear monitor that pushes up to 160Hz refresh rate. I have been testing for a month with other games with no issues and have finally re-installed Star Citizen to test and I notice that I am getting some serious frame rate issues. I'd say i'm getting roughly 3-5 fps running at the settings I have always played with prior to this new monitor (i've tried cycling through low-high with no change of results) I used to get well over 30-40. I did a clean install, removed the Live folder and set to Full Screen optimizations off. I have also noticed that the game will keep minimizing if I have any of the LG optimization software open like the lighting effects (monitor has led lights that adjust per whats on the screen in the rear) and LG Control Center that has various profiles to enhance perofmance. Once I shut off these 2 programs, the game will no longer minimize. Anyone have any experience playing with this monitor? Is there something else I can try? My Setup: Core i7 11700K @ 3.60Ghz (Non overclocked) RTX 3070 (Non overclocked) ROG Strix Z590-E Motherboard Running PCI Express 4 for RTX 32 GBytes DDR4 Ram Samsung 980 Pro (Where SC is installed) 27 Inch LG UltraGear 4K Monitor w/ G-Sync @160Hz THANKS!
