Well, I've started playing the game with quite a bit of enthusiasm. I love the concept. What's killing the hype for me is that none of the ship mechanics really seem to be working. I spawn in at crusader, I request the ship. Everything is going well so far; a little laggy here and there with the way everything moves, but whatever. It's early stage development. I can deal with this. Next, I get in the ship. I had to look this part up, I couldn't figure out that you needed to find the ladder hatch, heh. Which brings me to my next point, I've looked in quite a few places for tutorials on how to fly the ship. I'm usually pretty self sufficient in finding information, as asking in-game in any game is usually next to useless. So the thing is, not a whole lot of the ships controls are working as I expected. When I sat in the pilots seat, the ship starts up. It's all pretty neat. Next thing I know the ship suddenly jolts forward and begins flying nonstop. Later I found while I was testing out buttons, before taking off, that I had accidentally coupled my ship. Good, one problem solved. :smile: Next, I need to find out why the yaw controls on my ship won't work. I've only been able to pitch up or down and roll. Combining these two allows me to get around ok-ish. Trying to land is terrible. The first time I just went straight through the landing pad and into the space below it and took heavy damage to my ship. Upon second attempt I simply bounced back upward and some how ended up on the corner of the platform. I exited the ship and watch my ship fall down onto the next platform. Anyway, moving my mouse from left to right doesn't turn my ship. I guess, my main question is this. Where can I find a comprehensive guide to flying? The keybindings are far from self-explanatory. I've tried looking up some of them and I mostly get irrelevant crap. I'm normally good with these sorts of things, but this... this just eludes me. So, I came here to find out if I'm experiencing bugs or simple ignorance. Thanks in advance. I hope this was the place to post this... >.> Edit: Another issue I wanted to point out. I can't change my graphics settings to Low or Medium, it just clicks the slider bar underneath.
