So I figured I'd throw this out there since I didn't find a fix anywhere and was lucky enough to figure out a fix for myself. I'll try an lay out everything I experienced, found online, and figured out for myself. If this already exists in another place, my apologies and disreguard. 1. Outline of glitch as it happened for me: a) Playing in party as party leader, joined PU together b) Flying in two seperate ships, I had another possibly unrelated glitch of Quantum drive holo getting stuck on my HUD making it inoperable c) I laid down in bed with the intention of logging out and back in to, hopefully, clear the QD glitch d) Logged out from the bed using the inner focus option and was back in menus in a few seconds e) On attempt to log back in I was greeted with normal loading screen which then turned into infinite loading screen f) The server was not full. My friend was still in the server. I was still party leader. My ship was still visible to my friend in game. 2. At this point I tried exiting party, closing the game and launcher and relaunching, restarting my computer and relaunching. Nothing worked. 3. Found on forums these workarounds: a) All the things I stated above b) Have friend destroy my ship as it may be causing me to be unable to launch into PU i) I was unable to test the effectiveness of this as we had both logged out already in attempt to fix it c) Join from a different server location (ie USA, EU, etc) d) Reset my character 4. I did not want to reset my character so I tried some other things before moving on to that option a) I changed my character features and saved (this helps for no head bug so I figured maybe it'd do something) i) This did nothing b) I changed all settings to default in menu such as graphics, audio, keybindings, etc i) This did nothing c) I tried joining by myself, not as part of a party i) This did nothing d) I rejoined the same friend in a party, handed them party leader, and had them join the PU pulling me in with them i) THIS FIXED THE INFINITE LOADING LOOP! *sorry for the all CAPS So, that was my experience. I was able to recreate it once without the quantum drive glitch and it was resolved using the same method, swapping leadership and being pulled into PU rather than trying to enter it myself. I even came into the PU on the bed I logged out from. So, if you run into this glitch, or one like it, I hope this helps. -DC
