I understand this is a known issue, although I cannot seem to fix it, and it's greatly hindering my ability to play and enjoy the game. I have a single starter ship, the Drake Cutter. I thrusted upwards into an asteroid and busted both of the main engines. Unaware of the bug, I landed in Grim Hex for repairs. Now the engines seem permanently locked in a nonfunctional state. I've tried the following: - Self Destructing the ship - Claiming the ship from Grim Hex, CRU L1, Lorville, and Arc Corp - Character Repair from the Account Settings on the website. Everything I've found online suggests that the only fix is a Character Reset. I don't see anyone stating "Character Repair" is synonymous with Character Reset, but I cannot find any way to "Character Reset" and can only assume that Character Repair (as found in the Account Setting on the website) is what everyone is actually suggesting. I did the Character Repair which reset my character back to his home planet of Lorville. I retained the items that I had on my person, and no items from other space ports were transferred to Lorville's inventory, unlike the suggested outcome from other's explanations of Character Reset found online. All my items were still mainly at Port Olisar where I had left them. So I'm not sure if I'm resetting my character correctly, or how I can fix my ship otherwise. Any help would be appreciated, as the Cutter is my only means of transportation and it barely moves.
