Haven't played for a year. Just launched into 4.1, retrieved my Drake Cutlass Black, got in the cockpit, checked that it's fueled up, stocked, and repaired. However, ship controls do not respond to keyboard bindings, and I cannot operate the ship using freelook. I can enter the seat and exit it by pressing "Y". I can power the ship on using freelook, pointing at the power toggle, and pressing "E". However, no other ship controls respond to keys, and freelook only reveals the power toggle, "enter turret mode" button, and Exit button. Pressing "U" does not power the ship down. Other ship control keys, like "I" for engine power, do nothing. "Right-Alt-R" for flight ready mode does nothing. "B" for quantum mode does nothing. While in the cockpit, I can call up chat and type any letters into the chat message box, but the ship does not respond to those same keys when the chat window is hidden. Bug? Some new mechanic? Keyboard driver issue? All of my keybindings work fine when I am on foot. I'm stuck in Area18 until I can figure out how to fly my ship. :disappointed: UPDATE: I've tried deleting my user folder, every key combination including right-alt-R, holding B for quantum mode, everything. Nothing is working. My ship will not respond to control keys except Exit/Y. I also just tried a different keyboard, same issue.
