I did not have this problem but a friend of mine did, he was getting mad as he couln't play a normal game session without having a sudden crash randomly after a brief gaming session. He has a Game pc setup similar to that: cpu : Intel 13900k GPU: Nvidia 4090 RAM 64 DDR5 - 6400 SSD - Samsung 990 Pro 2T The rest is up to needs of those main items. After Asking the support he received the usual useless answers like the team is not knowing the issue but is investigating, the team is working on the issue but not yet found a solution , the team is aware of the issue and its working on it and so on , this went on for months. Tired of the useless responses he decided to take up the ball and try every possible test to solve the issue he had. He was tired of that as he even uninstalled the game and clearly stated he couln't play it . But one day he went on reddit and found some interesting posts about cpu overclockings-underclockings and test configurations that could be setup with XTU Intel https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/17881/intel-extreme-tuning-utility-intel-xtu.html He decided so to try out and underclocking the cpu while playing starcitizen solved definetly the issue. The problem seems that the game is not optimized to run at certain clock stages of the cpu causing the system to shut dpwn the game to avoid problems. Undertoning so the clocks to lower it helped. My friend said that this needs to be done individually by each person as the configuration can change and so needs testing. The good thing is that with this tool you will not need to mess with the BIOS and the settings can be setup to be totally reversed when shutting down the pc.
