i7 quad processor (no overclocking) Nvidia 970M GTX gpu 8gb ram (yes, I am increasing to 32gb asap) All drivers up-to-date according to Driver Booster Game has run great in all past versions Just as the title says, I can run Arena Commander and Star Marine with great fps on medium settings (decently on high). Both run smoothly - no hitching or audio issues whatsoever. I can run singleplayer, private, and multiplayer - perfectly playable and still quite fun, especially now that I can actually fly my Aquila and new Cutlass. I am also able to play other titles, like Ark and Conan Exiles on high settings (Hellblade and Destiny 2 on medium settings) with good fps. Whenever I try to load into the Stanton System, it becomes completely unplayable - even on low settings with 800x600 resolution. First, it takes an incredibly long time to load each time I try - usually >5 minutes. Once loaded, the sound and music begins going in and out and the frames drop to what can only be <1fps. It takes a long time just to get my character out of the bed (which he appears to be actually inside of, rather than on top of) and it is a challenge just to get the habitation door opened due to such awful fps. The game has yet to crash in this state, no matter how long I attempt to crawl around the station, but it is entirely unplayable regardless. I am at a complete loss as to why the game runs great in all aspects other than Crusader. I have made sure that every driver I can update is updated. Crusader has run great in all past versions - I have had good fps and zero audio issues. I am on a laptop so hardware solutions are limited, but I would appreciate any assistance I can get.
