So, I finally got around to trying this, and was pretty disappointed with the results. I didn't expect much, given the obvious limitations of the character creator. However... The character that face recog. generated really didn't resemble me at all. My girlfriend confirmed this. I have a shaved head and no facial hair... so it should be pretty easy to map my major facial features. The faceware only seems to take a front shot of your face, so it's not capturing any profile shapes (nose shape, cranium, chin, etc). Am I supposed to be rotating my head from side-to-side or something, or is this just the way things are right now? I've seen some people on YouTube get characters that seem pretty close to their RL appearance, so I had higher hopes.
