So I have the toe brakes on my rudder pedals mapped to strafe down (left) and strafe up (right). For the most part it works, except for when you first sit in a cock pit, like at take off. In this case, I would use the right toe brake to take off vertically but doing so seems to strafe down into the pad. Instead, if I tap the left toe brake the ship launches into the air and doesn't stop strafing up until I tap either toe brake. Once this behavior is experienced, the toe brakes will operate normally until you sit down in the cock pit again, this includes leaving the seat and re-entering during normal flight. My rudders are connected to the PC using the USB adapter. I don't use TARGET, only use direct mappings in SC. Roll, which is mapped to the rudder's rotational axis works perfectly. I do notice that when I observe the properties in Windows "setup a game controller" for the rudder that both toe brakes are initially at 50% until you tap one and then they both zero out and function properly again. Does anyone have any insight in to this? Thanks.
