Hello :slightly_smiling_face: I would like to point your attention to anniversary of the other great space game: Elite Dangerous. It is 40 years of Elite as a brand and 10 years of its last installment :slightly_smiling_face: There would be no Star Citizen without Elite and there would be no Elite Dangerous without Star Citizen (Braben decides to go to Kickstarter after success of Star Citizen) I played Frontier: Elite II for hours and hours on my Amiga 1200 and could not find another such game when moved to PC (I missed Freelancer somehow). Then moved to Elite Dangerous and spend there another thousands of hours but in my eyes ED is stripped version of Elite 2 (it lacks few mechanics I loved like landing on earth like plantes, planetary drilling operations, npc crews :wink: and so on) but gave us multiplayer :slightly_smiling_face:. But also in time I was fed up with all this open/group/solo thing that ruined for me endgame like Power Play and BGS and then I discovered Star Citizen with beautiful planets and "open only" :wink: And stayed here. Now I am going back to Elite from time to time for exploration and some activities with my squadron but for me the dream that Elite II created in me continues in Star Citizen :slightly_smiling_face: I bet there is more Elite players here.
