I want to believe....:/ Anthem is a frustrating game for me, because there is a good game buried in there that could be fun to play if they had spent additional effort on it. The bugs were not the killing blow (tho they didn’t help...) so much as there wasn’t enough content or gameplay to carry a full price product. The missions were unoriginal and uninteresting. The story was painfully shallow and short (why, BioWare? Roleplay games are your primary thing), leaving the player nothing to do besides hunt endgame equipment. That process was then buried behind stupidly bad rng mechanics. Then there was how they handled the problem. Because there was a lot they could have done to build faith with the fans, but they decided to go radio silent and take no feedback or give no sign of progress. I don’t see them recovering unless they basically rebuild this game from scratch and deliver something along the lines of what was originally promised. The rumor is that may be in the planning. I’m not sure I have enough faith remaining in EA or BioWare that they will see this to any successful conclusion.
