I know a lot of us are convinced GTA6's imminent release... is going to force CIG into a 2027 release if they don't go for the [now] rushed 2026 window. But, read me out: What if CIG decides to take Rockstar head-on? Rockstar is taking it's ceremonial dump on the PC market (that made it what it is, but I digress) by being console exclusive for awhile, in theory, that means no PC title is really competing with GTA6. How many people itching for a game like SQ42 are really wanting to play GTA VC2 on a PS5? So, maybe this is the play we are all assuming can't be in the book. It would be one thing if they were competing on the same platform... but they aren't. One could say they won't really compete at all. I know some marketing goon is either laughing at this as ridiculous or dictating pitch notes right now after reading it, but what do you think? Is GTA6 really the big scary beast SQ42 needs to fear?
