I will include a link to the YT video for anyone who hasn't already seen it, as it looks like the first RPG style game i will play/enjoy in a long time (for sci-fi). The level of customization, ambiance of the city, combat, multiple quest paths, and cool toys required an amazing studio (CDprojeckRED), a substantial government investment ($7 million) and 6 years of development. I know it won't happen, but if CIG partnered with CDprojectRED to develop some of the RPG planet side quests, cities, and style - my faith would be greatly reinforced. Anyways, on the aspect of expecting CIG to come through with this level of design and styling, I've seen the SQ42 videos and they look amazing, however I hope that the entire game isn't just running around in my space suit and ship doing fetch quests and space combat. I'm really looking forward to planet side missions and locations as well. Is it too much to expect CIG to get to this level for planet side? or do you see SC being more of just a sandbox with very minimalist quest givers and factions, and to save all the "story telling" for SQ42 only?
