https://ddlc.moe/ "The Literature Club is full of cute girls! Will you write the way into their heart? This game is not suitable for children or those who are easily disturbed." This game is not what it seems. It's a dating simulator visual novel, I hate dating simulator (I find them gross and for losers) and visual novels (apart from 999 and ZE:VLR). I like Doki Doki Literature Club! so much that I've played it for 10 hours straight the same day I've downloaded it. Suggestion: at the beginning of the game, pick up a japanese-like name, you'll understand why at the end of the game. After having played it for 2 hours I thought it was dull and boring, then everything changed. A lot. A LOT. And I've understood that those 2 first hours weren't what they seemed. Nothing was what it seemed. My first run lasted for 6 hours, I then played it immediately for a second run to pick up different choices. I've understood I've only seen the iceberg summit. I've then searched the web and found the undelying iceberg and lost my words, I felt disturbed. There are games made with million of $ by huge companies (I'm not speaking of SC of course) and yet they're empty, this has more to say than them all and reinvent (even if it's not the first using similar techinques), playing with you. Literally. I wonder how a Silent Hill made by Kojima with "Doki Doki Literature Club!" ideas would be.
