Star citizen needs new managment. Straight up. This game is being developed completely wrong. And it looks like Elite dangorous is gonna get there first with the release of fleet carriers later this year and with the release of Odyssey early 2021. Odyssey will allow you to get out of your ship and run around first person shooter mode. I wont have the super amazing graphics of star citizen but it will have everything else and more.......then guess what their next step will be......complete graphical overhaul of the whole game......and graphics are a simple.....replace this skin and model. Before Star Citizen hits beta ED will look like star citizen with full functionality and have been release for years now. Back to my first statement this game would be double the place where it is right now. If the core game play was developed first. then all the littler fluff stuff as content patches later on. But all thats happeneing now is the core stuff get pushed back from each patch and the fluff remains. I have been a avid supporter of SC since conception. Even though i didnt pledge until 2.5. But I am losing faith. 2 years and still in the same system.....and they want 80 at launch which at this rate will be 160 years........lol but really we are looking at 3 years till beta and 5 till release. I say this because CIG has failed to give us a full update without pushing something big that would change game play back. Literally I am about to be able to play a game Star Citizen should have been a year ago, but it will be another game and early next year. I mean I paid 100 bucks into this game. Only WoW did I pay more into but I got 7.5 years of amazing content from that money. Right now I've paid 100 bucks for what..........all my friends wont pledge. They all say they will pay double to play when its released. CIG renew my faith. Get somewhere, do something, quit focusing on shit that doesn't matter. Get the flight model finished. Get Server side container streaming done. Get server meshing done. Focus millions into those core systems and get them online ASAP. Then move to salvage, and its four pillars. Those 4 pillars will bring in tons of other things into play. They need to sit down and say this is everything we wwant out of this game at launch. Tier 3 is what we need to get tier release done. Tier 2 is what we need to get Tier 3 done. And Tier 1 is what we need to get Tier 2 done. And Tier core is what we need to get Tier 1 done. And focus it all at tier core......and dont waiver. When Tier core is done....then focus on Tier ! till it is done........and so forth. Build the game from the ground up instead of 16 stories on 1 pillar. So you add all this un-needed fluff right now which causes bugs....which you have to fix. Prison and crime system is the latest core gameplay you have released. And it is gorgeous I watch the chat full of criminals literally renouncing crime........ Get it freakin done......7 years 400 million dollars and we have 1 star system, 100 ships, 50 player servers, 1 or 2 finalized core gameplay, those numbers are way not equal. Restore my faith I need this game in my life and after blowing 100 bucks on you guys....another developer is giving me what I need.
