A trailer was leaked from Frontier that confirmed that the next major expansion Odyssey would contain disembarking on foot. The trailer was soon removed from the site but you know how intertubes work. Edit: Official announcement thread here: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/elite-dangerous-odyssey-announcement.546389/ and on the Steam page.
