Me and a small group of gaming friends have started an Ark Server! I have made adjustments to allow for easy gathering of resources and reduced the time to level up, in hopes to make the game feel less of a grind. We also have two mods in place 1) Extinction Core: (also referred to as "Annunaki 2.0" by some users) is the new mod created by Psycho, who was one of the lead devs on Annunaki Genesis. Extinction Core is said to be the "new Annunaki" as it was redesigned and cleaned to Psychos vision, with increased things to do, fixes, new animals and variations on the original Annunaki. This mod allows for stronger and more mutant like creatures, but also adds in its own set of challenges. Making survival in Ark much more challenging, while also granting the Survivors more weapons and choice. The map is larger than the Island and The Center combined with more ocean and more individual islands. This map is still a work in progress but is mostly complete with very little bugs. There is also some amazing places to build your base including behind waterfalls, inside volcanoes, underwater caves, tall desert plateaus, and large open fields. So far there are 4 of us in the server, two of my friends have started a small base on top of the floating island (yes there is a floating island) to the north. While myself and 1 other member are activly exploring looking for a place to build. The map is large enough for many more players, and there are far more good base locations than there will ever be players.
