I find it really interesting that Eve online has come to the realization that no one wants to play the role of loot pinata. They have released large cargo ships that are capable of defending themselves! I think this is a great idea and something that should be encouraged for SC as well. While an industrial ship should not be offensively capable as an attack ship, it should be defensive enough that it takes a coordinated effort to get to its juicy plunder.
