I just watched the Cyberpunk demo and was immensely impressed by it: it looked great yes and the city felt really alive, but I'm especially impressed because afterwards I was left with with a strong feeling of 'how will this story continue??' I think the reason lies for a large part in the characters being interesting and believable, but maybe even more in the quality of the story line. To me, it almost watched like a movie.. Now I know this is a single player game, so it's not really fair to compare to SC, but I'm going to do so anyway :slightly_smiling_face: Thinking about SC missions: From what I understand the idea is to give the player a supply of these (to some extend) randomly put together missions, presented by mission givers, in order to have a diverse mission supply. I like that idea, but should it come down to; (mission 1) do activity x,y & z at location A and after that do v,w at location B for faction chi, and (mission 2) do w,z at A and y,v at B for faction psi, without presenting the players with choices (with impact) on how to deal with the mission parts, and providing some back ground story line which explains why you're doing all of this in the first place, as variable as these missions might be, they may still feel shallow and therefor bore people rather soon. Does anyone know how CIG will handle missions in this regard? For example, can you choose to handle a mission in such a way that it influences what you're next mission part will be? Does that also influence the story line if there is any? Thanks! (sorry for English mistakes, not a native speaker)
