I know those of us that loved Halo 3, we've moved on and away from Halo 3 since personally for me it was I didn't need the Xbox 360 and parted ways, despite loving Halo 3. But if you ever ask, what is peak gaming...This...this was it, since 2007. This was the game where people let their imagination run wild with creating custom game modes that weren't possible with other games. And honestly, there was a certain degree of goofiness Halo definitely allowed. Where as, modern games don't seem to do that at all. I don't know what happened to a majority of gaming where everything has to be 100% serious, but it's saddening. I honestly wish that I had an Xbox 360 for the games final days...I would've probably attempted to be finding games for days before the shutdown if only I didn't lack an Xbox. Even looking at more modern Halos or even other games. So many games miss the social mark, I can only think of overwatch as being the one modern game that allows post game party queuing. It just doesn't make sense how things seem to be devolving in other games. Bungie were madmen for having so many good ideas...They were the ones that made us start aiming with both joysticks with Halo: CE... They didn't even have that on games on the PS2 prior to Halo, such as on the Metal Gear Solid series or the Armored Core games that would've benefited so damn much from it. Like seriously imagine the cringe if you never played Armored Core and tried it in 2021 and jumping on a fast pace mech game and PITCHING YOUR UP AND DOWN VIEW USING BACK TOP TRIGGERS (L2 and R2) Yes, we have Halo 3 on the MCC, but personally the UI is just worse as well as there is a divide personally to me with the M+KB and Aim assist on controller. With there being evidence on reddit, the community did the right thing. They sent it out, with a bang. Cease fires, group photos, and T-bag parties with enemies happened. Something unimaginable on the game 12 some odd years ago.
