This is definitely something star citizen will want to keep an eye on. https://kotaku.com/eve-onlines-constant-wars-are-driving-away-new-players-1830096314 I was exploring in the verse the other day and got killed a few times. After a while of getting killed anywhere I went, I just gave up as it became unplayable. This isn't me complaining as such, just thinking out loud about how closely Star Citizen wants to emulate EVE Online in terms of PVP. I find it interesting to think about how realistic these games want to be. It's realistic for players to be able to attack each other willy-nilly. On the other hand, it would be unrealistic for people to actually want to attack each other willy-nilly. Therein lies the problem, this isn't reality. It's a game, and dying and murder don't have any real consequence. There are always going to be players who want to kill and grief other players, and there'll always be players who want to explore and be teddy bears. I'd love to see Star Citizen address this aspect of the game in a cool and unique way. Apologies if they already are, I'm not very caught up with the development. Thoughts?
