Lets not use the words "Lets Wait and See" anymore. Here is a Story about a Game and why it is so very important to post you're Opinions, Likes, Dislikes, Fears and most inportant You're Idea's and why it is Never a good idea and how Dangerous it is to say "Let's wait and see"... There was a Great Online Game called "Cant even mention the Games real name" sure it had its bugs and needed fixes but on the whole it was AWESOME and easily the BEST Game out at that time. One day a Smart Player in that game Recognised certain Patterns that gave them a very clear view of the Direction the Developers of This Unnamed Game where going to be Taking the Game. This player took to the Games Forums and gave a Warning to ALL Players of what was coming and how bad it would be. Im not going to go into all that, it would make this Post Way, way, way, way Too LONG to cover how bad it really was. Very few Listened to the Players Warning Post and a lot of Players called them a Troll along with other insults. Even the Forum Moderators called the Player Posting these Warnings a LIER and did everything they could to discredit them and even went as far as Editing they're posts and changing they're Forum Name, no one Voiced their Opinions or Concern of the Matter. Just one Month Later a Massive Update was released which changed the game. EVERYTHING the the Player Posted and Warned Everyone about was put live into the game. The Forums where set ablaze with the Lamentation of everyone playing the Game every single Player who called the Poster Troll and every name you can think of were Screaming Bloody Murder on how they felt and how much they hated what the Company did to the game and even asked "Why werent they told". (Fricken Hypocrites) Had the other Players of the game Actually taken the time to Voice they're Opinions of the Changes the Poster Warned them about instead of saying: "Lets just wait and see" and insulting the Poster, Thte Game would not have died way before its time. Cant even mention the name of the Game for the fact Moderators keep mofing this post into obscurity buring it in less viewd area's argh! The other company still has not recovered from this blunder, they're reputation is so tainted they couldn't even finish they're Newest Game from lack of interest and no one being able to trust the company. Perhaps if some of you guys played this Game and read the post that warned others of the Garbage that games company was about to inflict apon they're Players and saw first hand how everything ended up. You may feel different about the "Lets see" thought prosses and Voice what you "Like and do not Like" and maybe we can avoid the same thing hapening to Star Citizen that happened to that other game. It is far less work to avoid Changes to a Game that Players have said they do not like then it is to go ahead and spend time and money into developing changes and patching these changes into the game and only then do players say that they dislike the changes. By then it is too late, the odds of the Developer taking extra time which costs more money to take the changes that the Players don't like out of the game and replace the original back in or sonething else is very low. They just want the game finished as fast as they can without blundering it. I was heavily invested in that game, I spent a year grinding to Unlock a "Cant even say the class of the character" Character and another year Grinding that Character to Master just before the death of the other game. I am even more invested into Star Citizen, have spent way, way too much Backing the Game but I backed the Game because I love how Chis Roberts first discribed how the Game was going to be, but now Im seeing things that where Promised forgotten and replaced with other ideas that are not as good as the Original Promises. So yeah, I voice my opinons and Concerns just like a Smart Backer Should, Other Players may not agree with my ideas or concerns and have ideas and concerns of they're own, that is what makes these forums great, we all can Voice our thoughts and it is important to Voice our thoughts. But then again what do I know? Maybe you guys who don't participate and just "Wait and See" know better then I... So I'll use the Dangerous Words you guys love so much... "Let's wait and see..."
