Just my input from playing this in Russia, you can totally not spend anything and play the full experience. The story is long and has a lot of great cinematics, and can be enjoyable if you take your time with it. There is a quick level option but not on first run. PVP is instanced into the Arena. None of the founders packs are really worth tying up your money. The stuff you get will give you help....but you can buy most stuff in the auction house for gold. Some things will be rare if you are about that, like the platinum mount and the avatars. And while they can be seen as "worth it" because of the exchange of Royal Crystals (Premium Currency) It will still tie up money into Royal Crystals. The $15 founder pack gives you the pet and the 30 day Blessing (which is helpful), anything beyond that is tying up money in Royal Crystals which you can always do later. Also T1 content is gated, so even the 3 day head start is not worth all that much, everyone will catch up.
