So, as we all know, SC has been in development for ages with a full release being pushed back several times. Now, I'm not saying it should happen and the coming years would definitely give a better feel of how it would work out, but with Microsoft buying a lot of developers lately and saying they'll give them freedom to make their own games, how does everybody feel about a situation where Microsoft offers to buy RSI? As I said, it's been less than a year since these acquisitions have started so we can't judge how much freedom they're actually giving to the companies but, being optimistic, having the money and resources of Microsoft could seriously help get SC launched and/or improved even further. The problem I see, no matter how optimistic I am, is that Microsoft might push to have SC put onto the Xbox, which I wouldn't argue with since mouse and keyboard support is coming but the game would have to be scaled down even for the X which RSI has said they're unwilling to do. But, seeing as there's supposed to be a new Xbox in the next couple years and the suggested acquisition and finalizing the game would at least take that long, then it's possible that the game, as it stands now, wouldn't need a performance drop to be on the new console. Anyway, leaving that speculation aside, if Microsoft allowed SC to be PC exclusive, do you think it would help or hinder the game(s)?
