I picked this up on sale recently, and while I haven't dug too deeply into it yet I think I can say one thing: Star Citizen should emulate most of these systems. The combat largely revolves around sensors and countermeasures gameplay. Missile hits can be devastating but PDC's are aggressive and accurate, so you spend alot of effort getting a fix and then jamming defensive systems to get a hit. The tradeoff is these things make you more visible and the enemy can always burn through your jamming. The level of detail also goes a step further for damage control, implementing things star citizen has promised. Sub systems and crew are modeled separate to hull damage, ships can be knocked out of action without destroying them. The downside so far is that the game is early access without alot of mission content. You can customize ships but the combat is slow and the UI can be clunky at parts. I do think the general model of how ship systems work is something CIG can emulate and improve on. So I'm treating it as a small sandbox of things I wish other developers would look into.
