When Star Citizen reaches version 1.0 and is finally available for everyone to enjoy, it will no longer be a novelty. It will no longer be anyone’s dream or ambition. It will no longer be something shiny, colorful, or extraordinary, nor will it be the first of its kind in anything. More than thirteen years is simply too long. By the time Star Citizen finally releases, it will just be another game.
