So I’ve been playing this and, the usual launch issues aside, it’s actually... good. The game plays smoothly. There is a functional looting, crafting, and difficulty tier system. The development team is responsive and honest about its current issues and future goals. There is ample content in the demo and so far no lootboxes or micro transactions to Be seen. The downsides are that it’s not innovative gameplay and the story, while fun, is not exactly shakespearian. This is a game for people who like looter shooters, don’t expect much more than that. That said, looters have a really bad name in gaming and it seems like a good day when one of them actually functions properly as a product. So while the game might not be spectacularly outstanding I believe “People can fly“, as a studio, deserves some positive recognition for their efforts.
