I was seriously looking forward to this game. I am however completely turned off with it. It is utter gutter slime. It plays like a phone game. Joystick support is crap at best and broken more than not. You are unable to use a keyboard and mouse as well as a joystick / HOTAS (you know mouse for menus, keyboard for all the stuff it asks for... giving you a letter to push but because you have a joystick some work and some dont and a HOTAS to fly). The mouse will work for some things but... you know easy stuff like clicking YES in a pop up menu... that is a no go...... matter of a fact you have to map a button to your joystick or throttle to confirm.... for each kind of confirm, map, menu, hud, and good luck remembering all these retarded mappings. I gave up after about 20 minutes and uninstalled and started the refund process. Everspace 2 is a much better game, I thought it was fairly shallow... but it is the Mariana Trench compared to RGO. Even at its hardest it is nothing more than a walking simulator in space. I was hoping for a bit of fun, ended up frustrated and unsure how it is getting such good reviews. I guess Star Citizen has ruined it for me.
