Not sure if you guys have seen this or not: I have used it myself last night (totally lost track of time and was up until 4pm). I have no idea if something like this is at all technically feasible for SC (not to mention how to control for explicit content and that sort of stuff) but IMO, this is a fantastic way to get the player really feel attached to their ship and to make the ships into characters. I know there would be people screaming about how they don't want to see custom coloring for stuff because bright colors aare not immersive and whatever. But I just love the idea that you can put hours and hours into you'r ships custom design and really make it your own. Just wanted to post it here, so people are aware of what's possible in that regard. What do you guys think, would this be a great adition to SC, allow for too much craziness in the verse or simply be feature overkill? Me, I think it would be awesome to be able to custom paint my ships this way.
