Hello, back in September 2016 i made a thread in the "old" forum. Just get it here to share the information again. I hope you enjoy it! First i want to say "Thank you very much" to Chris Roberts @croberts68 for all of these great games that gave me endless hours of joy and happiness! I also want to say "Thank you" to Ben Lesnick @wcloaf and Jared 'Disco Lando' Huckaby @discolando for call up the RSI Museum again, that makes me very happy! Finally, I would like to thank all CIG employees for their hard work on our common dream #STAR CITIZEN! Special thanks to @Cameron_Wilkie-CIG for your outstanding help at GamesCom 2016 to get the signatures! Check also out my Thread about merchandise and promotion stuff at Star Citizen-Events: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/3/thread/star-citizen-and-squadron-42-merchandise-promotion Maybe someone of you remember the section "RSI Museum" on the old side from 2012. It was a very cool section with a lot of information about old Chris Roberts-Games or information around it. Almost all entries are from 2012 just the last one is from February 2015. This is an episode about a non Chris Roberts-Game, Ultima Underworld I and II from Richard Garriott alias Lord British (however it´s very interesting!). At my visit at GamesComEvent 2016 i had the chance that Chris Roberts and Erin Roberts signed my Games-collection. Many people were surprised on how many games Chris Roberts worked and was involved. This has inspired me to create this thread and to "reactivate" the RSI MUSEUM. Here are some basic information. I have tried to keep the descriptions short. English isn´t my first language so for mistakes please send me a pm. Many of my versions are europeen or german. King Kong was what was known as a “type-in program,” meaning that the BASIC code for the game was printed in a magazine for home users to type in and run themselves. The code was written for the BBC Micro (a computer from that era). Chris sold the game to BBC Micro User magazine for the princely sum of £100 (about $160), which printed the code one year later in its April, 1983 issue complete with a man posing in a gorilla suit with a Barbie doll on the cover! Gameplay involves flying a helicopter to rescue women from a skyscraper and then once they are safe gunning down the giant ape. Popeye (1983) Chris Roberts sold his second game also to the BBC Micro User magazine. Unfortunately it looks like it was never released. I bought over the years all issues of the BBC Micro User magazine 1983 but couldn´t found the Popeye game. Finally i found a site with all Games of the BBC Micro User magazine: http://www.acornelectron.co.uk/companions/electron/cats/mu.html Wizadore (1985) Wizadore was Chris Roberts’ first commercially sold game outside of magazines, was published by Imagine in 1985 and went on to be a bestseller. This gave Chris Roberts his major break into the industry at the age of 16. The game itself is a simple platformer with smooth horizontally scrolling screens and a 3 item inventory. You don’t start with any offensive weaponry but there are 3 scrolls in the game which can be picked up and used to cast offensive spells. These spells each destroy a certain type of enemy, but the archers were all invulnerable.
