This is a good reflection in a very controversy topic. I think it is valid since we are including female characters. I see a game as an Art medium and I believe we should treat it as a serious topic if we want a true immersion. We cannot deny that sexuality is a small but essential part of the art development we can see that in some of the most beautiful sculptures and arts. But we cannot have it in a childish way as having female characters with giant breasts or things like that. Sexuality is not the physical representation of sex appeal or something on that way. Sexuality is what define us for the adult life, it is something we are exposed every day. It help to define characters, create a better interaction between them, even helps to create a better immersion when played well. This introduce diversity, we can in a mature way insert details that define the multiple genders. Things that we say on our daily life. Another important part is to bring diversity to work inside CIG, female characters should be developed by women with different view points, they need to participate on the creation of the female characters. This game has a high level of detail and an incredible opportunity to be a groundbreaking masterpiece for the video game media, we should not ignore this debate. There is also this nice article on Forbes: https://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2012/11/28/the-one-sided-problem-of-oversexualization-in-video-games/#40568d6f55ff I have a few pictures of: gian lorenzo bernini Salvador Dali They have centuries between then and they never treated sexuality with immaturity. So why can`t we treat it in a mature way as well?
