I bought this game recently on Steam for 13 USD and change and it's actually really intriguing. I became a backer of SC back in 2012 and it reminds me of the same game development growing pains as SC. They, the Devs of The Isle, released a major patch and map with significant new survival and general game mechanics a few months ago. I haven't followed this game at all but remembered it was available for early access like 8 years ago and decided to take a look. The graphics are amazing and the vision for the game is pretty intriguing and that's why it reminds me of SC.
