I'm sad to report that Star Wars: Squadrons looks like it's going to be a steaming pile of trash. I have no idea what the ship design team was thinking. * Excessive struts make it IMPOSSIBLE to see anything clearly, let alone your target. * The TIE Interceptor only has four piddly little lasers, and they aren't even gimballed. * Most player controlled ships don't have 120 degree let alone 360 degree coverage, making them vulnerable to attacks from anywhere but the front of them. * X-Wing is supposed to be a space superiority starfighter, but it can get taken out by a single capital ship. * Imperial Star Destroyer looks like a fat cow, not the sleek fox originally promised to us by Colin Cantwell. * Nebulon-B was originally sold as an escort frigate, but now it's just a medical frigate. * Perhaps the worst of all, you can't even remotely control other ships from your own fighter which means the game FORCES you to play with other people if you actually want to be successful. This isn't the game I pre-ordered.
