The most prolific type of feedback CIG gets, over and over and over again, is in the vein of "Player to Player interaction.". The vast majority of that feedback is that "player to player interaction" is not good. PVE folks are unhappy. PVP folks are unhappy, mostly that their PVE counterparts don't want to play with them Industrial folks feel completely abandoned (and rightfully so) Everything is pew pew and the ONLY commentary CIG makes on this whole subject is "PVE gamers are lazy, go salvage" <--- really low moment for CIG. And then comes Funcom and Dune: Awakening. They make a fantastic MMO-light PVE focused game with hundreds of hours of exquisite gameplay. They offer great story, crafting, building and cooperative incentives. They make a HUGE mistake and design the end game to be PVP and then turn the game into a PVP extraction shooter. The community revolts. Floods the forums and social media with the clear message that we dont want PVP. Developer actually listens. Developer commits to change the game in order to meet audience desire. Gamers happy Everyone wins and watch COHH's video. I hope CIG pays attention. I hope they watch this video. This is how it's done. listen to your community.
