Hi, Let me be clear first, I love SC and this is not meant as a bashing/negative post. I recently found out about No Mans Sky. And it made me wonder a few things, mostly why am I still playing SC when there's a completed game that seems to have everything that SC is gunning for? Now I can ask this stuff to a NMS player but that wouldn't give me the answers I am looking for, I need SC players for that, that know NMS. So here are my questions: - What does NMS lack that keeps you in SC? - How were the developers of NMS able to create that entire game in about 3 years when SC isn't even coming close to having a proper functioning game after 10 years (let alone the missing of loads of content still)? - Why is SC the better spacegame? Since I was a kid I've been hoping for a spacegame like SC and No Mans Sky and since I learned about NMS I feel a bit torn about which game to get into. I don't like playing several of these games, I want to invest my time in only one. After several years in SC it's getting more and more difficult to see the lack of progress in development and the lack of content (mostly the adding of missions to promote a patch only to remove them a week later) which obviously made NMS seem like the better choice. However, a game that's built so much quicker than SC, that's sold for just 17 bucks on Steam, there's got to be a reason why people stick to SC instead of starting NMS? Much obliged to anyone that cares to answer!
