On the 18.10.2946 UEE Navy orbital satellite registries started to spike like never before on Goss lll, showing large amassing of life in certain areas well beyond UEE patrol zones. The areas noted where ones the UEE never considered infiltrating as they were some of the thickest and most impenetrable jungles known to scientists of the region. As officials met to assess the situation, scouts flying over the areas reported visibility of occurrences being limited because of incredibly dense vegetation. Their only reports described glimpses of tribal people wandering from many directions towards an apparent meeting point, yet beyond this point there was no evidence of a meeting or festival of sorts, as the wandering trails simply disappeared into thin air where visibility reached reached almost 0%. Protocol navy officer duty in a gathering of native people of this proportion, is to assess if martial intervention is necessary in order to prevent possible outbreaks of violence or attacks on civilian areas. Goss's natives are well respected as fierce warriors and dog fighters when employed by the UEE, yet they are also known and documented to UEE archives as a predominantly peaceful people, with their main interests in productive areas like agriculture, trade and extensive spiritual practices. Thus even though a gathering of this scale had not been witnessed since Goss became official UEE territory, the emergency meeting was of a relaxed atmosphere, as ranking officers decided that there was no incentive to expect a martial uprising from the honorable and peaceful living people of the Ku' Lin Nation. On the contrary the atmosphere among the indigenous people was the complete opposite. Ten years ago, one of the most sacred rituals of the Ku' Lin spirit walker shamans had been initiated. This ritual followed a breakdown of an elder shaman, whom began to suffer immensely after having witnessed a vision of pure evil manifesting somewhere among the highest ranking hidden UEE rite holders. As the elder summoned his consultants, they met under an atmosphere of deep concern, yet having trained most of their lives as apprentices to sustain functionality in times of crisis before entering the inner circle of spirit walkers, they agreed to isolate the shaman in order to let him enter a sacred practice of total isolation and dedication to the spirit realm. This most sacred of rites was one that would endure for an entire decade, as the shaman himself would ingest neurotoxic poisons from the depths of Goss's jungles, which would allow him to enter a state of half consciousness or stasis. His body would become partially paralyzed due to the perfectly dosed regular ingestions of the poisons in the process of the ritual. These neurotoxins would slow down his nervous system, metabolism and thus his heart rate and neurological and cognitive functions, in order to make all of the shaman's spiritual energy available for the most ancient part of his inner being. This part of our brain many say is the part which allows us a connection to the spirit realm; "The Pineal Gland". Buy taking part in this ritual withheld only for true masters and completionists of the highest level of shamanism called "D1 a.k.a. Diablo", the shaman would be able to develop a state of absolute meditation and a direct and consistent connection to a higher state of consciousness. In this state he would be able to familiarize himself with the issue at hand on an intimate level, with the goal of knowing how to prepare his people for the incoming crisis upon awakening. Today was this day. The day the "Kur" - the highest Ku' Lin shaman, was to awaken from his marathon like near death journey. The many tribe members that had made it to the festival had been forced by tradition to make the journey from their crafts (if they had come from another planet or very far away) or their homes to the meeting place on foot. As the UEE was a constant surveyor of their home planets, they where already well accepted in Ku' Lin's every day lives because they respected their indigenous birth rite. Thus the tribal people knew how to easily disappear from their surveillance systems with a vast array of time and experience proven techniques. This time they had migrated to a point of an apparent meeting which in truth was simply an entrance to a network of underground tunnels, where they were transported to a meeting location in droves via procurer transports. This location was far away from the underground entrance point, in order to ensure the marine's scanning and scouting focus was on a location as far away from the sacred site as possible. The Kur had spent the last 2 years in a state of gradual awakening, as parts of his mind slowly reactivated themselves as the nerves of his tissue healed from the numbing poisons. During this time he constantly cried out visions and maddened slurs, showing the process of the shaman fighting and freeing himself from predatory, leeching spirits and demons, which had latched onto him whilst he was only half conscious. Each vision he cries out is a manifestation of his spirit and upon awakening, the shaman will have redefined his innermost being from its beginning (birth) to its current state (now), whilst using the knowledge and experience he had gained over a lifetime until the beginning of the ritual (ten years ago). This means the shaman has basically stored his current soul growth and knowledge of the ethereal, gone back to the beginning of his soul birth, and traveled along his soul's growth timeline, whilst applying his knowledge to it along the way as a form of reinforcement against spiritual attacks. As the tens of thousands of people gathered for this once in a millennium event, The Kur whom lay in a cradle of roots from the ancient trees above the ground covering the ritual cave, slowly but surely opens his eyelids and rises into a sitting position. He must rise from a lying position in front of his people because lying down in front of someone is a sign of trust as we are vulnerable in our sleep. Thus we sleep in the company of family and loved ones. Many kings and officials of other tribes and species encounter audiences in a sitting position in a throne, which shows they have prepared themselves for the encounter, expecting the possibility of distrust or the possibility of an attack. On the contrary, Ku' Lin leaders who are not awakening and simply receive an audience often bow their heads to those whom enter, as a sign that they are equal to their own people. Ku' Lin leaders are only leaders because they are elected to be so by the people, due to their proven wisdom and abilities. As the Kur slowly turns to meet the tens of thousands of bystanders, there is complete silence in the cave. The only noise is the shuffling of feet and ambient sounds of armor and cloth moving as the crowd awaits the prophecy. The Ku' Lin people witness the Kur's pupils have changed under the ritual process and are now no longer visible. He now has completely white eyes and is completely blind, but he can still see everything around him as before because his spirit is now molded into one with the universe it's self. This means he no longer sees light, but the very essence of each and every particle in his vicinity by pure understanding of its core energy. Then suddenly the silence is broken by a very breathy first word of the shaman: "Ku' Lin,...", a cheer that deafens the room rises amongst the people and dies down again quickly. The Kur continues: "We have come to a monumental place in time,... the verse has manifested a part of it's self, to create a great challenge for humanity". Assistant shamans stand near the nest-like crib, making sure they can support the Kur should he need any medical assistance, but he is strong and full of energy, as his body has rested for almost a decade and is now driven by pure purpose. He continues to speak:
