So there I am - David Benedict Ramone, Ex-UEE Captain and Pilot - and now back in civilian live. While I'm now 42 years old I've seen this and that, been here and there. I started my career in the UEE Military as a young pilot. No - not one of these fancy fighter pilot guys that bangs everything that gets in their way. I was in for other birds - explorers, transport machines and such. After flying these birdies for some time in different conditions I got promoted to a logistics divsion and assigned to a staff position. It would have been a boring job if it wouldn't have been for my General. He was a son of a bitch, trying to get some profit out of everything. Got a nice side business runing - trading with each and everything that you could imagine. We experienced a lot of shit together during the years, but finally it was time to part. My General - Samuel D. Parsons, General, boss, business partner and lately also a friend - retired some weeks ago. The new guy that came after him - hah, I won't speak about him if I can avoid it. So I took my hat too and left. Got a nice lump sum as a retirement bonus and an "Transport Claim" for my first civilian space ship - one of the last things General Parsons did for me. It was an Aurora, barely flown, military surplus. Quite a nice ship, some cargo, some decent weapons for self-defense - but I didn't liked it. Used some of my cash reserves to get myself a small ship which was a little bit more agile. While scanning for some jobs and a new ship I stranded in the Stanton System and found a contact dealing with smaller ships. He had an Aegis Avenger Stalker on sale - not quite the thing that I looked for, but given the fact that I'm theoretically able to throw that holding cells out and I liked that ship it's ok for now. It's small, it has some cargo space, some decent weapons for self defence and even a bed. For now, it will do the job. Actually, I'm stuck here, at Port Olisar, waiting for my piloting licenses get approved and my trading license set and done. All that paper stuff really costs you money, nerves and a lot of time. Meanwhile I'm trying to get some credits together doing some simple repair jobs. Hey - I was and am a pilot, at least I know how to operate a space craft and do some EVA while out there. When I get my trading licence finally approved I hope to get my hands on a small freighter - a freelancer or a cutlass - to get some business started. While waiting for my licences to get approved I stumpled over a nice beauty which I couldn't resist buying - a brand new and shiny Origins 315p. First flights with it where nice - a comfy ship to fly around. Made me thing about some space exploration in the future as well - scouting out new markets, resources or what do I know. We will see what the future keeps for me... --- OG: Hi everyone. I just started with Star Citzen some days ago and given the fact that I do roleplaying a lot at my spare time I hope to get in contact with other people who like roleplaying as well. My ingame character currently is Dave Ramone, Freelancer and hopefully future Trader and Explorer :slightly_smiling_face: Would be nice to meet a lot of people ingame, drink some coffee or beer in the 'Verse and have a good time! Edit: I editet the title of this post. It is supposed to be a kind of an journal to write down the adventures, hindrances etc. Another edit: typos...
