The collapse we were investigating for the past several months has occurred so we have come to the Central Bank to get answers. While no one would come on camera to answer questions directly, we were able to get written answers from individuals not authorized to answer officially. Many citizens woke up a few days ago finding bank accounts emptied, vehicles repossessed, weapons/armor and even ammunition and medical kits gone from their supply closets and were left wondering "What happened?" So we came to the central depository for answers. "Look, we knew something was going to happen but we didn't expect this..." our informant began in the bank vault after ensuring our recording devices were deactivated and we had only an ancient pencil and paper. We were not even permitted our armor, instead having to walk through an intensive medical scanner to check for recording devices and scanners. "Records of ownership for ships, bank accounts, hell man even storage lockers holding people's personal goods were erased and what are we going to do? We come into work and almost 1/10th of our records are just...." he waves his hands like a magician. "...gone. So we do what we can. We dump some cash into accounts and just hope it goes away. But it doesn't. People are outraged which is why this..this man is without names you got me? No names." We can understand why the individual in question was so adamant about not being named so we reached out to our friends at the research organization "Deep Space Crew" for a comment on what their records indicate and were not disappointed. Researcher Bo-Fone went on the record with "A fairly good amount of our operational assets, such as the Herald fleet used during Icarus, were heavily damaged due to unforeseen reasons. We believe there could be some yet to discover phenomenon coupled the reactor core of the ships engine, QT drives, and power plants with this catastrophic event where these ships loose controllability completely after the initial inspection check of ship hulls and test drives in the last 24 hours, especially after the usage of the QT drive or a manual QT travel. Be extra cautious about this potential issue since u/FastForecast visited our closest station to the photosphere of Stanton as well. Awareness of this risk is critical to the survival of civilians and citizens whose daily job involves frequent low-earth-orbit travel." It seems that banking records wasn't the only things effected but also ship systems so have those quantum drives checked before any long distance jumps to ensure stability by your local dealership or trusted mechanics. Onto brighter news--------- We were able to get our hands on both the Redeemer and the Crusader Inferno last night and it was a treat. We'll have videos up as soon as atmospherics clear up enough to publish them but we'll give you a few specifics that haven't been released yet. The Redeemer: Top cruising speed it's able to maintain in MicroTech's atmosphere is 410 m/s which is faster than the Warden's 220 and even the Herald in a straight line run. In the black however is where it's mass oddly comes into play. Fielding only 862 m/s it's slower than the Starlifter and even the Caterpillar. She's meant to hit hard and with 2 size 3 shields, be able to take a beating which is good because with her snail like pace, even the heavy Terrapin can leave her in the dust. The Crusader Inferno: Where to start with this ship? A single seater fighter that is larger than the multi-crew Redeemer with a gun that is designed to take out subcapital ships. The size 7 main gun is incredibly heavy and you can feel it while flying. She constantly wants to roll to her right in atmosphere which is something to keep in mind if you decide to take your mind away from the stick for a moment to enjoy a cup of StimCaf. How does she do speed wise? Well, not great. She's designed to strike and flee, hitting larger ships hard and getting out of the way before they can hit back. A glass cannon that punches through heavy armor and then moves before big guns can come to focus on her. Top cruising speed in atmosphere is around 350 sustained but again, you're constantly having to make adjustments because that fast firing cannon on the front is trying to pull her nose down and to the right. Even those powerful Crusader engines on the rear have a difficult time keeping a high speed in atmosphere. In the black she does better. You're looking at a top out of 1120 m/s which puts her just about 120 behind the 400 and even the Aurora at 1140. Her size absolutely has something to do with her sluggish top speed. You will notice we keep mentioning her TOP speed. What we are purposely holding back until now is her acceleration. We spoke to several pilots last night because our numbers did not make sense. We were seeing acceleration between 32 and 44g acceleration. We were experiencing G forces so great for full boost that we blacked out before we reached max speed. This is extremely dangerous both to the pilot and to the ship as the stresses on the hull and superstructure itself cannot be overstated. We're talking a ship with a massive cannon on it that pulls down and to the right is capable of a 44 G launch for over 15 seconds that could kill the pilot and rip the ship to pieces in an inexperienced hand. She's a very dangerous ship, the offset gun should be placed below the pilot's location to ensure easier firing lock and the engines should be throttled to make sure a pilot in a hurry to avoid enemy fire does not kill himself and rip his ship apart by accidentally engaging almost 50g's of movement in an afterburner fueled thrust. Hopefully Crusader takes this one back to the factory and does some repairs and redesign because she needs it. We'll have a further review as our video comes out but that's it for now.
