https://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/comments/19a46l6/fastforecast_18_january_reports_from_the/ Good evening citizens, your Fastforecast is proud to come to you tonight from a cave on Daymar. Evidently if you take several shots from a size 5 cannon into your engines, even a Terrapin will have trouble staying in the air. With that in mind and knee deep in Anvil parts, we are going to our field reporter Mumbo who has been tireless in running around Stanton seeking out the latest news. From Field Reporter Mumbo: ----------------- In recent news, temperatures on several moons in the stanton system have seen a minor increase in their global temperature! The current cause is debated by scientists to possibly have correlation with explosions being heard repeatedly for the past few weeks around major criminal activity sites. The size of the explosions and their frequency might have played a role in raising the atmosphere pollution and heating up the moons in consequence! Explosions seem to have been focused on major reporting sites to our organization, the jumptown drug production labs! Activity has fortunately slowed down in the recent week and temperatures have returned to their original levels! [ Recent reports have announced an increase in Aegis Reclaimer sales around the Stanton and Pyro systems, in an apparent salvaging rush. Surprisingly a lot of drug trafficking arrests have been given to aegis reclaimer owners in the last few weeks in what seems to be the new economic craze. Pilots are heard to be scavenging for illicit substances in salvaging claims, where previous vessels may have been rendered inoperative following a dangerous situation involving drug trafficking. These reclaimers are frequently seen escorted by Hercules series cargo runners from Crusader Industries. In what seems to be a joint scavenging effort where the reclaimer pilots salvage the hull and have cargo runners retrieve the drugs to sell them and share the profit. ___ A mass recall has been issued to 600i owners following a major landing gear malfunction in a recent firmware update sent out by Origin Jumpworks. Owners have reportedly complained about their landing gear simply not working following the recent firmware update rendering them unable to access their ships or land on ground! Some owners report being ok with it and repurposing their touring vessels into a yacht for water use. Origin Jumpworks has responded to the issue by sending out a patch that seems to have succeeded in letting owners finally land their vessels and store their ladders away. Thank you Reporter Mumbo. Keep up the good work. We also have a press release from our friends over at Quantum Jump Medical
