This expedition, led by ChefHeisca, not only held an 890 alone with a Hurricane, but rendered the massive yacht into scrap in just under 30 seconds. That's right citizens, this pirate, this cutthroat took apart capital class shields and Origin's finest manufacturing like it was Banu celebration lanterns. Utilizing a mixture of energy, ballistic, missiles and suckerpunches, the ship's shields collapsed within just about 14 seconds and the hull seconds later with the drive core blowing the massive 36 million aUEC ship to stardust. It was a spectacle and warning that no longer can citizens hide behind shielding and expect to be safe. Even capital class shields will not protect you. You can run, bargain or fight but just hiding is no longer an option citizens, it is a frightening new world we wake up to today. Next up, all across Stanton, citizens are noticing a disturbing trend. When summoning their vessels, they are met with a warning that the ship cannot be found or brought to the flight deck. We are told this is because every station and port is currently experiencing a bug, pushed out in a recent update from the Empire's own IT department, that is rendering our storage systems in a perpetual loop. Many citizens are reporting finding their digital inventory systems stuck in an infinite loop, having to sleep off the effects before they are able to continue on or losing their valuables all together. When reached out for comment, the C.I.G. (Central Information Guild) stated "We understand it's an issue and it's at the forefront of our work load. We ask all citizens to be patient as we work on this. We're pushing a patch to the issue soon." When asked when "soon" is, CIG is keeping a time frame quiet. To cool tempers off, we would like to give a hat tip to a citizen that rendered aid last night, citizen Flight_Assist. We were trapped on a downed 890 and he took the time to pop over and use his Aegis Sentinel to push our MSR out of the 890's gravity well so we could get back onboard and depart.
